I wouldn’t expect all Native Americans, or any other group, to hold identical positions on any issue. People can differ. There may well be Native people who were just fine with the Washington Redskins or the Cleveland Microcephalics. But NAGA doesn’t speak for all Natives. In fact, they seem to be kind of a fringe group, from what I can tell. Nor is it clear to me whether they have standing to sue, or whether they have the right to tell a privately owned business what to do, including how they design their Washington Commanders NFL X National Native American Heritage Month Limited Edition Hoodie, barring proof that they’re genuinely being harmed. We’ll see how this plays out.
