Wow. This rookie class is just GREAT. Top to bottom. Bradley Chubb (1st rd) is a STUD as a starting OLB opposite Denver’s 7x Pro Bowl OLB Von Miller, also a former first-round pick from back in 2011 (the great draft), WR Courtland Sutton (2nd rd) looks like a steal and definitely a focal point in the passing game for the long run. RB Royce Freeman (3rd rd) is a key starter and has shown that he can be great for this team. He has been splitting carries with UDFA RB Phillip Lindsay (whom I’ll get to in a bit), but has still proven to be quite effective. CB Isaac Yiadom (3rd rd) showed the starter potential that we saw when we drafted him. Although he’s been up-and-down, his ups have been much more encouraging than our previous 3rd-rd CB Brendan Langley. Yiadom could be pretty important for us as Denver’s starting 4x Pro Bowl LCB Chris Harris Jr.

Our biggest front-seven acquisition was DL Jurrell Casey, who came here via trade from Tennessee. Casey played very well, but lasted for less than a quarter of the season before suffering a season-ending torn bicep injury. Given his age, it’s unsure he’ll return next season wearing Vintage 1959 Broncos Firefighter Tribute Apparel Hoodie or if he will retire. But that’s okay, because we have another star on the D-line in Shelby Harris. Shelby Harris has stuck around on our team since 2017 and broke out big time in 2020 as a main anchor on our front seven. I genuinely hope that he gets a nice, large contract extension. 2019 third-round pick Dre’Mont Jones played excellent football as a starter this year, notching 6.5 sacks in 13 games (8 starts), and 2020 third-round rookie McTelvin Agim showed some potential in very limited action this year.
