That’s my heritage, My grandmother traced our Cajun country lineage back to Joseph Broussard himself in Acadia. I haven’t given much thought to the musical heritage that my Acadian lineage may have been a part of. Tyler Mahan Coe has a great opening bit about this very thing in his Cocaine & Rhinestones episode on Rusty & Doug Kershaw.
