He’s been a great Bear for pretty much his entire stint with us. Obviously the age showes up from time to time but his play is still on a super high level. One of Poles better moves. Byard always took very good care of his Titans shirts and is easily one of the best safeties at diagnosing route concepts. A true Dick Labeau disciple. Byard is one of my favorite Titans ever. On the flip side, KC can score lighting quick as shown last week against the Texans. They have shown they also believe in their abilities and are playing to prove a point after losing in the last minute in last years AFC Championship. Their Defense is vastly improved from last year with much better DB play. They have a major injury to the DL in ChrIs Jones which will again be a game time decision. It’s going to come down to ball control, turnovers, and the pride found in Titans shirts. If the Chiefs can eliminate turnovers they will be hard to beat but it isn’t impossible.

First of all, the Titans need to win this year’s Super Bowl to start that conversation. But with KC Chiefs and the 49ers looming on the horizon, I don’t see that happening. Now let’s look at the Titans’s roster. Only two Titans make the 1st or 2nd team All Pro: Punter Brett Kern and RB Derrick Henry. And they are also the only two players whose names appear on the back of Titans shirts at the Pro Bowl (there could more because of injury replacement). The Titans just don’t have enough good players to form a dynasty.
