I kinda wanna draft that punter outta Georgia in the 7th because Hekker seems inconsistent at this point in his career. But yeah, the ST improvement has been tremendous. So happy to feel good about our rookies wearing Titans shirts on the field. Borgonzi literally gave us the first great draft class in 6 years… It’s crazy looking at how bad ’20-21-22-23 draft classes were… all stinkers… 24 was decent but this ’25 class is great. We’re finally free of JRob’s mess, thank heavens. Absolutely. If this thing turns around, we are going to point to this draft class and their Titans shirts as the starting point.

Tannehill actually hasn’t been bad this season. He’s averaging eight yards per attempt even though Henry himself is arguably his most effective receiver. In fact, there was a post on one of the Titans’ blog sites this week that says they should use him and his Titans shirts out of the backfield more often. But running Derrick Henry into the ground is not the answer to the bigger problem. All in all, Robinson hasn’t met expectations, and the only reason their record has been as good as has the past few years is because the AFC South sucks. He hasn’t improved the team and after last year’s disappointment, he made them worse. The Titans have always been patient (see Fisher, Jeff), but eventually even they run out of patience.

I think the fact that AJ Brown torched them in that 35–10 loss to the Eagles on Sunday was what broke the camel’s back. As you surely recall, Brown was traded to the Eagles in the off-season, and the Titans’ passing game has not been particularly effective this season. The Titans are still in first place, but have lost two in a row and are not competitive with the top teams in the league. Everything revolves around Derrick Henry, and if an opposing defense takes Henry and those Titans shirts away, the Titans don’t have enough offense. This has been a problem for years, and Robinson made it worse by trading away Ryan Tannehill’s best target.
