He’s been a great Bear for pretty much his entire stint with us. Obviously the age showes up from time to time but his play is still on a super high level. One of Poles better moves. Byard always took very good care of his Titans shirts and is easily one of the best safeties at diagnosing route concepts. A true Dick Labeau disciple. Byard is one of my favorite Titans ever. So happy for him and congrats to da Bears.

The Chiefs, Chargers, Broncos, Bills, Dolphins, Jets, Bengals, Ravens, & Jaguars could all compete for a playoff and/or Super Bowl berth in 2023, and I think even the Cleveland Browns & Pittsburgh Steelers would probably be in the mix as well. All of these teams have good or great starting QBs along with at least somewhat good defenses. That means that best-case scenario, the Titans are set to be approximately the 12th-best team in their own conference, and there’s a huge gap between their Titans shirts and whoever’s at #11.

Ryan seem to get better with the Titans than when he was with the Dolphins. I think it has to do with coaching. Ryan was cut loose because the Dolphin was starting over with their new HC. Gase the former HC is now coaching the Jets, lets hope Gase does a better job with Darnold than he did with Ryan. Ryan was a raw talent and seem to be more comfortable with Titans shirts. Darnold was suppose to be one of the pro-ready QBs in the 2018 draft but have not been consistent and it could be the Jets identity. Like the Dolphins Gase never established one so the Jets are like a counter puncher they hardly get in the first blow and find themselves behind in the count. Some people might say money but its good for a new HC to have his own QB to run his system.
