His numbers have nothing to do with him, it has to do with the amount of talent of around him. Anybody would do well in that offense, any varsity grad can throw to an open Michael Thomas. And as far as the passer rating it just sucks, I’m sorry but it’s completely irrelevant. I didn’t see Tom Brady have a single bad game all year long, but his misfortune was having receivers not catching the ball. I never once felt Tom Brady had lower performances in any one of his games than Drew Brees. Everybody’s pathetic, the receivers stink, no playmakers to talk about whatsoever. Guys leave anyway to join other teams on $1MM a year contracts. Passer rating sucks. It doesn’t take into account performance on down and distance, it doesn’t tell you how well you perform on a snap per snap basis, doesn’t take into account fumbles, turnover worthy throws, sacks, whether a receiver was responsible for most of the work on a TD etc etc I mean Ryan Tannehill had a 92.7 passer rating this year, and only passed for 179 yards per game. Always a top 5 offense, everything in New Orleans runs through Brees and the offense. The addition of Kamara and the imposing figure in Thomas have made the unit even better than before. Kamara is the steal of the draft and coach knows how to find them. Graham was a basketball player and Kamara a smallish RB who only played his Sophomore and Junior years with a total of about 280 plays wasn’t on alot of teams minds but he is now. Kamara shreds defenses like lettuce for that good ole Po Boy sandwich, often leaving defenders with nothing but a handful of the Star War N Saints NFL Fan Hoodie worn by the fans in the front row. Let’s no forget Ingram and that offensive line. Drew was only sacked 20 times and that stat is probably more imposing when you consider almost every QB lower than him was injured or 2nd fiddle.
