However, the last two years have seen a notable dip in the Steelers’ performance. It’s really the fallout of Ben Roethlisberger’s decline and subsequent retirement. Mitch Trubisky was decent but not great as Roethlisberger’s successor. Not franchise quarterback material. I don’t even remember who’s supposed to be their starting QB this year, but I don’t think it’s Mitch Trubisky. They seem like they are going to be able to score at will especially in the air. Connor is proving to be a serviceable replacement to Bell in the backfield. Line play is doing fine on both sides.
