I think this year might actually be better than most people predict. What I saw was the team that now finally has a decent OL and DL. Last year’s DL featured QD, IW, GD, Mike Purcell… It was basically composed of nose tackles. They were decent run staffers, but they couldn’t apply pressure on the QB for shit. Things changed a bit when AA was added to the rotation, but it was too little too late. This year’s line has AA and Buckner and Blair – and the results already show. OLBs were struggling less because DL was doing its job helping apply the pressure on the QB. CBs jobs were easier and I feel we’ll have a much improved secondary this year (the talent level is also higher). And I haven’t even mentioned the OL. We’re actually going to have one this year! Now if we could only address our ILB position, we wouldn’t even need Photographer Graphic Houston Texans Flag Hoodie to feel confident about taking us to the playoffs or even SB.
