Whether justified or not, I see some team taking him late in the first round. A team that already has a quarterback, just looking for somebody to develop. The Rams, for example, come to mind. Does he deserve to be drafted there, maybe maybe not. But I make allowances for quarterbacks being overdrafted. It happens all the time… Except for Shedeur Sanders, which was a different situation altogether. Simpson should have a first round grade, but a late one. He needs the most work imo, and would benefit from being drafted by a team that already has an established QB who’s about to retire. This has Rams written all over it. Ahhhh Mac Jones 2.0 lmao. I don’t see how you can watch his last few games and think that he’s worthy of a pick within the first 3 rounds. Alabama had no run game or offensive line.
