I’m a homer – of course I do! Now reality… the Saints have a tougher finishing schedule for their last 4 games than do the Rams. After the Rams play Chicago this week (and this week, I’m a HUGE Bears fan), they finish with the wounded Eagles and hapless Cardinals and 49ers. The Saints have Tampa this week followed by Carolina, Pittsburgh, and then Carolina again. Advantage Rams. This is important for home field advantage. In the event of a tie between the Saints and Rams, the Saints have the edge by virtue of beating the Rams this season. If the NFC Championship has to come through New Orleans and the Superdome, we feel much better about our chances. That said, we’ve developed our game enough that it travels better than it used to.
