Offense was terrible. Defense was terrible. Special teams was terrible. Firing the head coach would have done nothing unless you also fired both coordinators based on their own performance. Then who is running the team? Did we have anyone on the staff with any experience at all? One of the (many) frustrating things for me this season was a lack of playing discipline. So many terrible mistakes on ST and during games, resulting in costly penalties and turnovers. For me, and the San Fran home game really highlighted it, was that the team had, what, 17 penalties to SF’s one?
