You learn to recognize that the idea of always thinking about the future, just like always thinking about the present, is not the best move. A wise GM knows when to go for it, when to blow it up, and when to rebuild. This Saints team was 22nd in scoring but 9th in scoring defense. If Carr can get them in the top 10 in scoring with his handling of the offense, they have both an O & a D to contend for a championship and even if they don’t win, go to point 4
