That’s why the worst teams get the best draft picks. Meanwhile, look at a team like Bayern Munich in Germany, which won the title for like what, a decade straight? I doubt the average German soccer fan appreciated that very much. In Spain, there’s three main clubs—Madrid, Barcelona, and the other team in Madrid. Does the average soccer fan appreciate the fact that most clubs stand no chance against them? I don’t think so. It’s really exciting and the short season makes every game important. I think the “every game matters” aspect is so crucial. Baseball, Hockey, and Basketball are all much bigger time investments to follow with significantly more games played, but each individual game fundamentally matters less. They feel like following a slow-burn TV show.
