NFL football is the worst sport. And that’s coming from a football fan. Sure, at times it can be fast-paced and exciting as hell, but the sport in general and game design is awful. The rate that players get concussions and other horrific injuries is astounding. It literally seems like the NFL averages at least one concussion every game. And if it’s not a head injury, then it’s some other terrible injury. I just watched players in New England Patriots NFL Gameday Football Hoodie get their legs destroyed on a normal play. Or when Damar Hamlin was almost paralyzed trying to make a tackle. Any game in which awful injuries occur that frequently is just not a good sport.

The ads ruin the sport and aren’t talked about enough. The strategy is great and all, but I personally don’t enjoy when the game has so many stops and not continuously flowing. It’s funny I grew up watching and wearing New England Patriots NFL Gameday Football Hoodie, then my team moved (Chargers) and I decided to take a year away from the sport. When I went back to try and watch again the following year all I could noticed was how little was happening and all the damn ads, haven’t tried again since. I’d agree the games are fun, but real world matches, especially main nfl games, are just too slow. With friends it is different, but commercial football is not fun. Similar story. I disliked football, but my buddies were into madden. So I played with them, learned the game, and learned football. Now, I still find going to a game very boring and won’t go unless it’s paid for. But I can watch a game on tv and have a clear understanding of what is happening. Agreed, a lot of fans use the pace of soccer or hockey as reasoning why NFL football is boring, but there’s no action happening, no scoring, big plays, turnovers, etc.
