In 2016 Belichick traded Jamie Collins to Cleveland for a draft pick. It was a surprise move to many because Collins has unbelievable athletic ability and has made many great plays. The problem was, as Collins made these plays he felt he could “free lance” and go outside of his assignment to make the big play. He free lanced on the first play of the game against the Bills, and the running back made a long run on the play. So we have a few more white guys on the team than a few others. So what? I ask again. Why does it matter??? This conversation always fascinates me. My point is this: all this is is a narrow-minded excuse to hate the team.
