No. It’s supposed to be the image of the classic Viking warrior: tough, square jawed, blonde, long hair & beard. Thor happens to be a Norse God and a patron deity to the Vikings… so he also looks like a Viking. Although if my memory serves me correctly, he is usually portrayed as being red-haired and red-bearded in mythology. Marvel went with blond hair (and lost the beard) when Stan Lee and Jack Kirby introduced him to the Marvel Comics Universe.
