Doubtful. The Raiders have a solid starter in Carr. Their backup situation is less than stellar – they recently signed Stidham from the Patriots, and they have Mullens from San Francisco. None of these guys strikes fear in the hearts of anyone. They also picked up FA Chase Garbers from Cal, who was not drafted. So suffice it to say the Raiders don’t have anyone they are confident in to be a number 2 guy. Stidham has the inside track being a McDaniels guy in New England. I’ve said this since day one though – regardless whether you think he’s worth it or not, are you doing the best you can by NOT taking a look at CK? What do you lose in looking at him? Costs you nothing. If he’s not capable, you lost nothing but the look of him in Las Vegas Raiders Patrol Loyalty NFL Shirt. I think in the end, the Raiders will prefer what they have. Younger QB’s with more upside and future. CK would have to be good enough to beat them out outright to have a shot. I don’t foresee that happening. But stranger things have happened.
