IF, & that’s a big if the Raiders end up signing Colin Kaepernick then in my opinion he would most likely win the backup job behind Derek Carr, he still has the arm he had back in 2017 with San Francisco based on the comments coming out of his display with the Raiders. Plus he could be a great option in a wildcat offense as a pass option or a fake pass to a full back run option. Granted that Carr hasn’t needed a backup for actual injuries since the 2020–21 1st round playoff loss.
