I find it sad. Gruden, 10 years ago, said a black guy had big lips. Is this a racial stereotype? Yeah. Is it super offensive? No. Even if he meant it in a racist manner(which it doesn’t seem like he did), this is very minor. To my knowledge, Gruden does not have a history of any time of racism or discrimination, so why does anyone care about one thing he said in private a decade ago? So what else? Oh yeah. He called NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell a fa**ot. Hate to break it to people, but this is pretty common. Very few guys actually say that word when talking to, or about, a gay person. Guys say that about other straight guys. It’s not homophobic. It’s no big deal. If he said it to a gay person, then this would be an issue. But it wasn’t, so it’s not. Also, this was a private email where he discussed Las Vegas Raiders Chainmail NFL Hoodie. None of your, or my, business.
