They were defending Super Bowl Champions led by Favre in his prime, a solid run game behind Dorsey Levens, a slew of quality receivers, Chmura at TE and a lockdown D. Should have repeated as Champions. But… they ran into an Elway led Bronco squad that was hungry. Elway didn’t take them all by himself like he did in the 3 previous Bowls he had been to and lost.
