Their linebackers are a bit thin (story of the franchise outside of the days with Chuck Bednarik as well as the squad from late 80’s and early 90’s), but it’s their secondary that will help with that. Malcom Jenkins and Rodney McLeod can either easily support the linebackers or drop back to help the secondary. One of the best safety duos on the NFL. Their CB’s are an interesting group, but with can’t say enough about their depth that includes Rasul Douglas and Jalen Mills. Hoping to see a better year out of Darby and Jones. The biggest thing the Eagles will miss is having Hicks in the middle. Hicks is one of the best MLB in the game—but he has serious injury-proneness…kind of like Wentz, but worse. Special Teams, sound as always—Jake Elliot kicking, and your choice between DeSean Jackson or Darren Sproles as the returners. Pick your poison (maybe put both on the field sometimes). The team is retooled and reloaded, and with fans proudly wearing their Eagles Nurses Appreciation 2025 Hoodie3, they are ready for the 2019 season.
