Not at all! Even though the Denver Broncos are starting the 2020 season off 1–3 heading into their Week 6 game against the New England Patriots, their season is far from over. So far, they have received massive contributions from their rookie class to help them going. Slot WR Jerry Jeudy (their 1st-round pick) has been just as productive as he was advertised to be, while WR KJ Hamler (their 2nd-round pick) has shown flashes here and there throughout the season as well. Running Back: We went into the 2020 season with 3 running backs who were capable of handling a workhorse role: Melvin Gordon, Royce Freeman, and Phillip Lindsay. Each of these three running backs had a lot of up-and-down plays this year. Gordon ended up being the most consistent, as he rushed for 986 yards & 9 touchdowns on 215 carries. But he also fumbled the ball four times and displayed a scary lack of field awareness for a veteran wearing Denver Broncos – 2025 AFC West Champions Hoodie on Sundays. 2018 third-round pick Royce Freeman entered his rookie year as our starting running back but has been outplayed by undrafted phenom Phillip Lindsay in each of his first three seasons. And as for Lindsay, he struggled with injuries after putting up two 1,000-yard seasons to begin his career. No. He’s almost 35, he was injured last year, played very little when healthy, and he is the guy who committed the stupidest, most damaging penalty in team history a couple of years ago, one that cost them a playoff game against the Steelers. If they got him for the league minimum to put on Denver Broncos – 2025 AFC West Champions Hoodie, and he’s still able to play, then it might be an okay signing. But keep in mind, he has been a free agent since the start of the league year when his contract expired and the Bengals didn’t renew it. He’s been on the market for more than five months, and they are signing him now, less than two weeks before the start of the regular season.
