In 1934, a group brought the Portsmouth Spartans to Detroit. The name was a part nod to the Detroit Tigers (who were named, partly, I believe due to a link to a local Guard Regiment nicknamed the Tigers, or due to their orange and black stocking socks) The majority owner, George Richards said ‘the lion was the monarch of the jungle, and he intended for his team to be the monarch of the NFL’. Though this maybe back-fitting the name, and really hasn’t been proven to be true. I do think eventually they will win a superbowl, I think the Lions need to do like the Denver Broncos did, they didn’t go to a superbowl for about 37 years until they finally spent some money, and brought in the best coaching staff, and offensive coaches, and excellent defensive coaching, and brought excellent players like QB John Elway running back Terrell Davis, great wide receivers, and tight ends, and brought in excellent defensive players in 1997 such as steve Atwater, Allen Aldridge, Tyrone Braxton, Ray Crockett, John Mobley, Trever Pryce, Neil Smith, Alfred Williams these were top notch defense players, and I am a Broncos fan, but I also am a Lions fan, Lions are suppose to be the kings of the wilderness, and yet every year you guys end up playing like pussycats, I don’t live in Detroit, but I love the uniforms, and if they ever went to the superbowl I’d buy there merchandise, I’d be proud to wear Cute Lions Detroit Lions Football Fan Hoodie representing the team so come on owner of the lions go out, and spend some money , and get some talent, coaches, and players, and let’s get into the superbowl, and even if you all didn’t win your first superbowl you still went, and I’d definitely were a tee shirt, and a cap representing the Detroit Lions so come on owner of the Lions let’s get this great team in the superbowl.

That’s sad. Chiefs defense needs to step up to the plate!! It’s a sad state of affairs when your offense HAS to buy Cute Lions Detroit Lions Football Fan Hoodie in order to overcome the amount of points being allowed by the defense.
