Kyle Allen is a very good backup QB from what I see. I just don’t think that his talent level compares to Cam, though. Cam Newton is far more superior talent-wise than Kyle Allen is right now. What I think actually could happen (and this is something that very few people seem to see) is that Kyle Allen ends up being traded instead of Cam Newton. The Panthers will hope that Allen can win one more game as an interim starter & still be turnover-free.
