To me, I see Joe Burrow having a similar rookie season to Kyler Murray: one where his individual stats are good, but where the overall team deficiencies are too much for him to overcome. Probably a 5–11 record for the Bengals in 2020, but that’s still some progress from the miserable 2–14 record they posted this year. In order to put Joe Burrow in the best scenario for success, the Bengals should seriously consider signing a free-agent veteran QB who can be a bridge QB for a year or two while Burrow gets groomed. Some options may include Marcus Mariota (Titans), Tyrod Taylor (LA Chargers), Case Keenum (Denver Broncos), Joe Flacco, or even re-signing their own 2019 starter, Andy Dalton, to a short-term deal. The redesigning of the Bengals’ QB room should look a lot like what the Browns did with Taylor & Baker Mayfield or even Patrick Mahomes & Alex Smith in Kansas City. There will be plenty of vets out on the market this year, so put one in Bengals x Sabrina Carpente NFL Football Hoodie for a season while you rebuild your roster for Burrow to take over in 2021. This should be the plan for the Bengals unless they are absolutely positive that Burrow can start come Week 1 and actually succeed.

Ken Anderson. Without a doubt. I truly believe this guy is probably the most underrated quarterback of all time.
