The lure of the new stadium was too much to resist, and the Cleveland Browns moved to Baltimore beginning in the 1996 season. Memorial Stadium had been left standing, and served as their temporary home as what is now M&T Bank Stadium was being built. It opened in 1998, as construction began shortly after fans started buying Baltimore Ravens Firefighter Blaze Line Hoodie near the end of 1995. The current Steelers-Ravens rivalry has been compared to some of the best rivalries in NFL history (e.g. 1980’s Cowboys-49ers and 1970s Steelers-Raiders). I was very pleased when we got a new team and that they chose to keep the Baltimore Ravens Firefighter Blaze Line Hoodie; anything other than the Cleveland Browns would’ve been blasphemy but no matter the name it still felt different somehow. During all this however, the one thing that took me off guard was that the Pittsburgh Steelers fans ALSO MISSED our team and were deeply saddened by their departure.
