If it wasn’t the players then it was the coaches and WHY did they wait to replace poor coaches??? Yeah 3-14. I’m not even kidding, Petzing should’ve been fired after the Seahawks Thursday night game. Should have been gone last year tbh. Passing offense disappeared after the bye. I think newer coaches are hesitant to fire their coordinators-cuz they were one 5min ago. Im a little behind on news and am seeing this before I pull out the ol’ google machine. I know Gannon was canned but was Perzing fired too? On the coaches thing, it was everyone. Offense was terrible. Defense was terrible. Special teams was terrible. Firing the head coach would have done nothing unless you also fired both coordinators based on their own performance. Then who is running the team? Did we have anyone on the staff with any experience at all? One of the (many) frustrating things for me this season was a lack of playing discipline. So many terrible mistakes on ST and during games, resulting in costly penalties and turnovers. For me, and the San Fran home game really highlighted it, was that the team had, what, 17 penalties to SF’s one?
